Difference between tweets and retweets

All of us know Tweeter is a strong social network which giving you strong social signals for rankings. But I wonder is there any difference between tweets and retweets? Does google count them on same weight?

Lets assume i've 500 Followers in my twitter account and each of those 500 followers have atleast 100 followers.

If i post a tweet, it'll be shown on all my 500 follower's twitter status. And if 2 of them retweeted my tweet, my tweet will show up on their 200 Followers status page thus giving much more exposure to my tweet.

So yes google gives more weight to retweets than tweets.

I m using the social sharing networks like youlikehits and addmefast. They allow others to be the follower of my tweeter account and tweet my posts directly. As you know this is only the fake signals, people do not retweet my posts. Is there any networks which allow the "retweets" function?

Traffup.net is like addmefast but for Twitter only including retweets exchange
 
That's interesting to hear someone say tweeter will be down later. I wonder is there any guy here still using myspace for seo?
