The difference between knowledge and wisdom is..........

Knowledge is taught and learned
Wisdom is shared

The beauty of wisdom is that someone can share their wisdom with you, and you won't necessarily learn what it is you intended to learn, but when you finally experience what it is you are looking for, you will know how to deal with the situation based on the wisdom shared :)

Knowledge is the taking in of information. Wisdom is the understanding of that information.

Also; totally random thing, not meaning to hijack the thread but you made me think of it: do you think wisdom and knowledge can be locked inside of ancient traditions? Like for example a martial art form, that’s been passed down through generations -if it was created by a martial artist decades or centuries ago, although only the art form itself has been passed through the generations, does it contain wisdom, locked in the art form itself?

Also very true

Knowledge is the awareness of information.

Wisdom is insight about what that data means.

And Enlightenment is the perfect balance between both
(Although perfection doesn't exist)
