In the past I received a message in WebamsterTools about a manual action taken on my website and my rankings dropped.
After a lot of hard work and effort (it took me over 3 months, many disavow files and 3 requests) I had today a new message that my "Google Manual action is revoked"
....now what?
I mean based on your experience, how long does it usually take for rankings to improve?
I understand that all these links, although "unnatural", many were powerful and responsible for my pre-penalty ranking success! What should my next steps be?

Your rankings won't improve just because action is revoked. That's an illusion.

Think a bit - you probably removed 1000's of links and pretty much have cleanish slate now. Why would your site start ranking all of a sudden? :-)

Back to work - build links and avoid doing what caused link penalty in the first place!

Is your site stilled indexed ?

Try this string

site:yourdomain.com
If it's indexed then you still most likely need to get new links and new social mentions to your site to get the old rankings back.

yep, still indexed!
So is it like starting from zero all over again?
