Man, this is a miracle, man!

It is visual studio code and GPT based.

Chose my tech stack as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, nodeJS, expressJS, reactJS and MySQL.

And in only one day by just chatting: I created 15 very nice looking different projects including working bots, browser games, simple necessary DB projects and tools etc.

Normally they would take months from me.

The world is not the same anymore. Can not imagine what will happen in the next 10 years.

There are many AI supported IDE’s now. It is not GPT based, not sure what that means even. It is a fork of vscode like windsurf, kiro, etc,

Cursor has significantly worsened their pricing plans in the last months compared to the last year.

Though, it is nice to hear that you have been productive and enjoying it. And yes, the world is really evolving here. Excited as well.

Yes, I also tried Cursor. The first time I used it, I was really surprised and shocked. and I agree, the world is changing so fast, and it’s exciting but also a little surprising to think about what the next 10 years will bring. Technology is really making everything easier and faster.

It is using gpt5 isn't it? I meant that by that. Btw, I liked it very much, didn't like others this much. And realized I ran out of tokens and limits.

So I paid $20 per month now. And created some useful projects for my daily tasks today. Legendary.

We are using Claude 4 api on vs code it is also better and more usage limit. Cursor is nice but sometimes it is not enough and limited.

You can use many different models, not just gpt-5. If you are talking about the reasoning of their chat agent/autocomplete they have never been very upfront about it. Most think that they are using their own model for tab completion.

that’s amazing, it really shows how much faster building projects has become with the right tools. what used to take months can now be done in days, and it feels like we’re only at the start of this shift. the next 10 years are going to change development in ways we probably can’t even picture yet.

That's right Cursor can only generate simple template projects, based on statistical processing of code from github and similar resources. That's all it can do. It is impossible to write anything serious with LLM. The very principle of language models is a random text generation based on statistical data limits their scope to small and very typed tasks. Cursor is a toy, suitable only for the role of a programmer's assistant. The main task of any LLM existing today is to generate plausible and connected text.

If no fundamentally new AI concept will be invented in the next 10 years, nothing will change - LLMs will not “get smarter” because they do not think, but simply guess the probability of each next word. To put it simply, LLMs are incapable of neither lying nor hallucinating.

Wow that sounds amazing I can see why you are excited Finishing fifteen real projects in a day with your tech stack is incredible Tools like this are changing the way we build software and I can only imagine what will be possible in the next ten years

Been working on Claude Code and producing 8-10k new lines of code PER DAY.

In two weeks I've done more than in 2 years.

It's insane.

And to think that many professions will be left behind. That’s the harsh reality of a capitalist world.

That’s true, change can be tough for many jobs. It’s important to keep learning new skills to adapt and stay ahead.

That’s awesome, the speed boost is crazy once you combine a good stack with AI assistance.

yes I have premium. especially chat-gp5 and claude sonnet 3.5 - 4.5 is worth.
