Hi,

I just noticed that Google started putting custom results with informations and related stuff ...

For example, if you search : ZEDD, they will give you the real name and the search for that Dj. when you click on it you'll seach that real name and you'll get normal search results + Direct informations on the result page.

If you search a keyword, you'll see related people to that keyword : Is that mean, google is giving more importance to the authors profiles ? ( You'll always see someone who's working with Google ... )

I think that G is going crazy ... If they actually give you all the informations you need, why would you enter to any website ?
+ That thing is catchy and takes more space than the results ...

I guess this is really bad for SEO purposes :s

What do you think ?

By putting all this shit on the search page. Its removing organic search results, to below the fold

If they carry on as they are doing, organic searches will soon be on 2nd page.
that will be either the end of SEO or the end of GOOGLE

Also, the "I'm feeling lucky" button has more options now, e.g. "I'm feeling hungry" (will pull up local restaurants.)

There's 2 sides to this, but if Google is working harder to be more end-user friendly than anyone who works with SEO should learn to do the same instead of sticking with deceptive tactics that won't survive.

I guess the best solution is to move to create an offline and online business at the same time. Like investing in a project, opening a store or something.

Btw, if you search : Senuke X nulled, the 5 first result pages are youtube videos ! I guess Google is going crazy !

author profiles now show up in serps as well. There's a way to do it, not that difficult.

They're moving from being an objective search engine to personalized search engine. Remember all these Q&A sites, this is the ultimate goal - you ask a question and Google gives a precise answer (which was written by one of the authors that you trust).

Theoretically, the above sounds nice. In practice I trust no one, including Google. They will never be good enough to guess what I'm thinking about, so objective results are preferred over personalized.

i don't like this personalization stuff either. I think it's a sham
