If you have some sites which are not selling on websites like Flippa, I would recommend to use this technique to find your prospective buyer:

1) Google the keyword that you are targeting.

2) Find out contact information for the top 30 search results.

3) Email each of them separately telling them about your website and that you are interested in selling it!!

4) Give them a call the next day of the email, asking if they are interested.

You would be amazed to see how well this works!!

This is worth it only when you are ranking in the serps otherwise why would an established player buy a brand new site.

I used to flip sites full time and its a good idea however I'd be sure not to waste their time with anything they can't immediately used to coincide with their site. If it's not getting traffic, or has a list associated with it, or isn't making money, I'd say refrain from contacting anyone and try your luck exclusively on flippa...just my 2 cents.

I dont think people would reply to mails. The spammers have badly hurt our reputations. :(

If i would get a mail like that i would just delete it as phishing to be honest.

why would they buy a new site when they have already a good site well ranked in google ?

surely this is baby level stuff?

this is a tip that must be as old as the internet itself.

Wow. I thought this would be common sense, not so much a tip. Thanks for sharing your wise words though. Really touched my heart.

This approach can work with the RIGHT email correspondence (even if what you're selling is worth less than what you're presenting in your offer).

Mike.

Thank you for sharing your nice tips. I am a newbie in flipping venture and will try these tips for sure and let you know my results.

Thanks for sharing, but is it really work?
Generally people straightaway delete this kinds of mail now a days.

KnightRider is right.
