Did You Have Help Getting Started Online?

I got started without help (unless you call reading ebooks help).

Somewhere around the 4th ebook I bought, I thought, yes that suits me just fine. Then bought a piece of software and put a pile of crap online and made money immediately after google indexed it.

That was years ago. Still remember the reactions from the people around me, almost more fun than the money

I also got started with little to no help, as I knew nobody to ask I would say that BHW along with blueh*atseo helped inspire me to come up with some of my best ideas however. I've always taken into consideration that methods posted online are probably played out to an extent, so I focus my time on how I can twist the techniques taught or combine them into something which works today.

Here's the difference between making money online and riding a bike.
There's ONE way to ride a bike (ok well you know what I mean).

There's 1,000's of ways to make money online (and offline in life)...

It depends what direction you want to go, build a content site, build a direct marketing sites, do pure blackhat, or mix it all up... Then there's a ton of ways to do each one.

If you want to build a "real" business learn how to market.

The only real "help" I had getting started online was a friend and I starting out together and just going through pains and augmenting each other's weak spots.

I just joined BHW tonight. Bl4ck1ce kept telling me how useful the posts and info are.

As for me, I got into the whole online thing in June of '06. Started a blogger blog after seeing how successful Steve Pavlina was/is as a blogger. Quickly realized blogging isn't my thing, though. At least not in the current incarnation.

I keep my blogs up (just never update them) simply because my first blog is running Text Link Ads and averages a little over $100/month even with not really updating the site to speak of in 2 years.

I decided I'd rather get into doing online money-making that seems like less of a hassle to me and I can actually have fun with.

i started online by joining wickedfire and they made fun of me and rickrolled me afew times when i asked for a mentor. Then I found BHW and started reading and started making more money than I thought I would. Thanks BHW for having the resources for a newbie to succeed in the IM biz.
