of using PR Storm, or any other technique, on your competitors site in order to get it banned from google and other search engines? Would that be too unethical to do? Do you think it would work? Ideas?

You'll likely end up giving them more traffic. Spend the time working on your own sites.

You're not the first who has spoken of taking down a competitor, there was a thread about it yesterday... I agrere with TermsB... just work harder on promoting your own site and let THAT victory sustain you... you will have earned it and can have a clear conscience as he/she eats your cyber dust.

well I actually don't have any competitors as I don't have a site right now, but it was just a thought that came into my mind after reading about people getting banned etc. But thatnks for responding.

Not being a dick here, but would you rather try to penalize 40,000 sites that outrank yours, or just make yours better to beat 99%. Then if one or two is blocking you from the first page, you may try to remove them if all other seo options fail

Spend more time improving your site.

You could try ruining someone if you like, but I really doubt that you'd succeed.

It's not about karma like peoples say , it's not about ethical ... ( let's face it we are at BHW ... ethical means here other things .. it's just about you personal ... think on this terms .. 1 minute of work can bring you one penny from your site , if your site is weak and worthless on 20 page of index , same minute of work spend on creating back links for first page sites from index can bring the owner even 1K+ more revenue ....

I think it's hilarious that you don't have any content or even a website and you are already thinking about trying to get your competition banned.

First: Get a site up and implement a method.

Second: Worry about doing well.

If you worry too much about competition they will be beating you out while you twiddle.

Don't waste your time, energy, and money trying to get others banned. Just focus on your own site and in the long run you'll be much better off for it.
