Once I built a youtube bot which checked some channels for new videos. If it found new videos then the bot downloaded them, added watermark and uploadeded them to my channel

Using bots for views nowadays is a huge risk. even if the bot is working now, no one will promise you that it will work tomorrow.
From my experience, when youtube detects how the bot worked, they manage to delete all the views brought from him& ban the channels.
Don't take the risk, trust me.

When people say they are "buying views" do they mean buying watch time or CTR? I don't understand why people would just buy views they don't help you in any algorithm im like 99% sure. Maybe for ranking but for ranking you want SEO and organic white hat methods.
