Did Tumblr Change the linking Pattern?

From what I read and saw on my own site they still pass some link juice but considerably less anymore.

So you would in theory need more than double the amount to see a significant boost in ranking and they would need to be high PA and have some Trust Flow. I'm not too sure how much PR still plays a role but I doubt it would hurt to throw some PR2+ in the mix. Someone really needs to release a case study to really know what's going on.

Thanks for the tip pixelgrinder! I'm gonna try this!

You can also put your links in the sidebar and they won't be converted to the meta refresh links. Tumblrs still work.

Disclaimer: I sell tumblr accounts

It may not work like before. Contextual links are always better than sidebar or footer links.

Still I believe those sidebar links will pass more link juice than contextual meta refresh ones.
Time to try it out, thanks for sharing pixelgrinder!

I noticed this some few days ago, three days ago precisely, and am really shocked. Tumblr was one great platform i used.
Doesn't mean i won't be using them anymore, but lesser.

I'm still having good luck with my Tumblrs, I do have the regular links in my menus and sidebars too.

I'll still keep Tumbler in the mix of my linkbuilding strategy, but it will not assume the same importance as before.

I just noticed it today when I was trying to make a link on tumblr. Will try to put a link in sidebar to see how it goes.
