Did these two domain had any value?

Well I was tracking these domain until they expired. But someone was quicker then me and they got both. They both expired today. I'm new to domain flipping. But was these domain worth fighting for? Ordering namejet or pool?

Both domain were ranking for "wow power level" keyword.

what do you mean "quicker then me and they got both". I highly doubt these 2 would go expired/dropped without someone buying them up through auction, backorder.
And if it's bidding, u don't win by being "quicker".

good luck - you will need it... I agree with @blackpa

+ when you buy expired domains - never share the information with public. some guy will say "tx for the information" and might get them instead of you.

about the domains - I would go only for the 1st one - the name of the 2nd one has got too many characters, too many words, uber difficult to remember and therefore will be very difficult to sell.

Maby you have a good chance to get the domain, i think it is around $60 if you win a domain.

If they are worth 60% the backdoor fee cost 59$ already.

Both domain were ranking for "wow power level" keyword.

It sounds as though the owner renewed the domains if they "expired today" because they are held by the registrar in limbo for a grace period of 45 days (typically) for redemption/renewal by the owner.

It actually appears they were renewed and then parked as the expiration date is 13-feb-2013 for them both.

This is godaddy's timeline for .coms as an example:

Days after expiration ..... Action

Day 1 We make the first of three billing attempts to renew the domain name. If the billing fails, the domain name expires. The domain name can be renewed by the registrant at no extra cost.
Day 5 We make the second billing attempt. If the billing fails again, the domain name is parked. The domain name can still be renewed by the registrant at no extra cost.
Day 12 We make the third and final attempt to renew the domain name. The domain name can still be renewable by the registrant at no extra cost.
Day 19 The domain name can be renewed by the registrant for the cost of a one-year renewal plus an $80.00 redemption fee.
Day 26 We add the domain name to an expired domain name auction.
Day 36 The expired domain name auction ends. If there are no backorders and no bidders in the expired domain name auction, we list the domain name in a closeout auction.
Day 41 The closeout auction ends.
Day 43 We assign the domain name to the winner of the expired domain name auction, backorder, or closeout. If there are no bidders, we return the domain name to the registry.

Note: A registrant can renew an expired domain name at no extra cost up to day 18. If they renew an expired domain name anytime between day 19 and day 42, they must also pay an $80.00 redemption fee. The domain name cannot be renewed after day 42.
