did someone break gmail?

Are they just suspending the blackhatters email ids...damn it...i dont think so..but theres always a fear underneath.. [:p]

still no luck for me, looks like its only affecting certain users. Would this have anything to do with why i'm unable to create gmail accounts like i used to? (yes i am changing my ip and clearing cache/cookies)

right - you can still get your mail if you access it via outlook, pop3/imap

just checked blackberry getting emails on there! :)
 
Access from several points, home IP address, Proxy, even my iPhone is getting the 502 server error. This is widespread.

It might have to do with all the fires in California. Mt Wilson, in Los Angeles, is likely to get hit. Most TV and radio stations have their antennas on it. Good chance there is some hardware leading to Google up there, too.

Me too but I can access it on my Blackberry still...thought I'd been found out!

They are stuck in a continuous sms verification loop, someones phone is getting hammered :D

it says the work around is to use POP/IMAP, but to change that setting you have to be able to get into gmail first.
