Did my Twitter account get hacked?

When I search myself from another account, my posts show up as "This account doesn't exist". But another account that I surely know it's suspended shows up as "This account has been suspended" when I visit the profile.

I got a friend to check my handle, and it really looks like my account got deactivated or something like that

So I'm not really sure if I got suspended, or got hacked and Twitter banned my account because of that, I have no idea.

I do get password reset emails when I try to reset it, but when I attempt to change it, it always fails.

Is there any chance I can get the account back? Or do someone know what's going on with the account?

have you checked for messages from X in your email?

That's strange! have you also checked the previous active sessions? If nothing shows up, maybe you could deactivate the account (for at least 1 week) and see if you get a reactivation notification? I think that could confirm if someone has your login details

I checked email and everything, and I also messed up the rest of my accounts for not deleting the app as soon as this happened, so now I have to start clean again from the beginning rip

Does look like a penalty. I guess opening a support ticket is the only way

Nah, I don't, whenever I try to reset the password it gives me an error, and it just says the account doesn't exist when I search for a post

I attempted to send an appeal stating that I got hacked, and they sent an instant reply saying that I seem to be in control of my account, which is obviously not true.

It’s possible if you notice strange posts, messages, or login alerts you didn’t make. Change your password and enable two-factor authentication to be safe.
