Did my account get banned?

Hello BHW,

I want to ask if my instagram account got banned.

I left the account alone for a 2 - 3 months and yesterday, noticed it's missing. When I try to go on it in desktop (instagram.com/USERNAME/), an error page popped up saying it's not longer available.

I tried logging in, but it redirected me to the login page.
I tried retrieving the account with the email and username, but both came back with error saying it doesn't exist.

Around a month ago, I tried to access the account with my new computer but I forgot the password, I didn't bother resetting the password then. Would that be why? I've not got any email saying I've violated any terms/conditions, so don't really know what's the cause.

It'll be great if someone with experience in this area can help out!

Had same experience with my account before a month ago. It's pretty much gone. But my account was niche based on cars and stuff, so I could not contact Instagram support. You can call them if that was your personal account. They have no right to do that to a personal account.
