i just worked my way up on iwriters to get to elite level status today and i only see 3 elite articles as opposed to the normal 10-20
now i have suspicions
i made a dummy account to check on this and there i see elite 15 articles ready to be written.
so whats going on here? this is all real time. i just refreshed and i see 15 on my noob account and 4 on my eleit account.
im thinking either im missing something or they put in fake eleit articles to bait people like me in to writing the $3 ones

anyone? i haven't been able to find the answer elsewhere

Maybe it takes some time to fully activate or something like that? Try contacting them if it's like that tomorrow.

maybe in your journey to elite club you have been ignored by some people who have rejected your articles, the projects from those people you will not see, if you feel otherwise the best would be to send a support ticket

i have 34 articles written a few pending an 0 rejects so far *knock on wood

right now its showing 4 from my elite account and 18 from the newbie account :(

is there anyone out there that has elite status there that could check their account to see how many elite articles they see?
maybe there is some kind of delay or something but ive already written 2 approved elite articles so...i dont know

Not to hijack your thread but how much do you personally get for an elite article.... for lets say 1K words?

they have 150, 300, 500, 700 or 1000 word articles
for the 500 worders, standard level is 2.43, premium you get 4.05 and elite is 8.10
double everything for the 1k word articles
to be elite or premium, you need to write 30 articles and have a 4.0+ rating for premium and 4.6+ rating for elite

Ah no, iWriter didn't trick you.

As a basic or premium level author, the listing show all available Elite articles. The catch is that not all of them are available for all writers. Most of what you see are private requests for other writers, so basically until you are a preferred writer of some clients on there, it's still gonna be hard.

My suggestion is to keep working on premium level articles and get your ratings really high up with a lot more 5 stars, and then get to Highest Rated Writers list (which you will see in the home page when you log in). I used to be among them and received boatloads of private requests.

thanks for clearing everything up. i still think thats a bit misleading but i get it. i just started 5 days ago and have a 4.8 rating.
i have 2 questions if you dont mind

is the most prolific writers column an all time total or is it something like a running 2 month time total?

also, for the highest rated writers, if i do, say 50 articles in the next 9 days to get my total up to 85 in the 2 week period and maintain a 4.75-4.8 rating, would that be enough or do i have to be in the 4.9 range o have a chance?

thanks again. i spend half the day trying to find this answer :)
