Did I post in the proper forum?

I can't link to my post yet, but I started a post in Money Making forum titled "About to take the plunge, advice needed". It's gotten plenty of views, but no replies. Now if no one is replying because they don't have anything to share, I have no problem with that. I just wanted to make sure I put in the right place to ask for advice. Would there be a more appropriate forum?
