How they do it? After you follow some twitter users , they will send auto message to you , claim Hi , thanks for follow blah blah

under message

it works auto like that maybe I miss out twitter itself have this auto reply or they using 3rd party ones?

It will be a 3rd party program, to set a reaction DM to new followers detected.

Most if not all quality bots should have this feature

There are services like If ThisThen That (search in Google) to achieve that purpose
