I found a keyword with 400k searches and the 2nd result is a site from another country (same language). So probably the competition is very low since you should be getting results from the same country as you search right?

This is only 2 words but in bad grammar! Maybe Thats why!

Why don't you put it in google keyword planner and actually see how much competition there is?

@loedown, why would you use GKWP to check for ranking/seo competition? They show Adwords bidding competition which has nothing to do with ranking.

OP. To check ranking/seo competition try keywordrevealer.com (free) good luck finding that gold mine!

Google probably pulled info from your previous searches and somehow that site appeared there. Try to search same kw with google.com. Also plug in that info in semrush and check if that site is appearing in top 10 in their index too.
Anyways, even if its the case that that site is somehow second, keyword is most probably competitive, and 1 site being unrelative means nothing in my opinion.

How on earth does a 2009 member still think Google keyword planner competition is for organic results....
