2 days ago I would usually get 5k impression per post and some engagement now I only see 1 impression for every new pin.

Did nothing special so I don't know what exactly is going on.

Keep posting the same number and kind of pins and suddenly everything dropped. I create most of my pins in Photoshop so they are somehow unique.

Did I get shadowbanned? If so, can I fix it?

What's strange is that people still save my old pins. I get 5-10 saves per hour

Anyway, the big question is that if I still can run ads while I'm shadowbanned. Or will it have a negative impact on my ads campaigns?

search your username on pinterest, if show up its not shadowbanned

Message support, they'll tell you if any limitations have been placed on your account. Apart from searching for your user name, search for your URL - if your pins aren't showing, they have been de-indexed and you've most likely been shadow banned. Happened to me a few times this year since their new update. You can request that they 'white list' your website, and they'll do a manual review.

You might have violated with some pinterest policy. That's why check your accociated email you might get a email from pinterest. If it is really the case.

Thank you guys for your help.

Just searched my username and I've found it so I guess I'm not shadowbanned. More than that people still save my pins and I continue to receive traffic from Pinterest.

But still few to no impressions at all to any new pin... that's weird.

Maybe because the 90% of the free Pinterest traffic is ended months ago?

Any suspicious activity from your IP address maybe? There are activities that don't seem much of a big issue for us but it might for social media platforms

if your name shows up in the search on pinterest it means not shadowbanned? so my account is good? what about twitter, same thing?

This happened to my account in November and it only returned to normal in mid January. My traffic plummeted and I wasn’t appearing in search. Although Pinterest said my account was fine on their end (which it wasn’t on my end), I believe they did something during that time that caused some users to experience this.95% of my pins are to my website. At the time this happened I wasn’t pinning consistently. But I do have evergreen content that brings my website a lot of traffic. However, when I do batch create new pins I use various urls. So essentially this happened without an explanation. believe the Pinterest algorithm is very sensible to new accounts. How old is your account?

To determine if you've been shadowbanned on Pinterest:
  1. Check for a significant decrease in engagement on your pins.
  2. Look for a drop in visibility of your pins in search results and feeds.
  3. Review your account activity for any potential violations of Pinterest's guidelines.
  4. Consider reaching out to Pinterest support for assistance or clarification.
