Bought a shirt on eBay and the shirt got unlisted its been a few weeks and it hasn't came in yet.

if it got unlisted then you did not complete sale on ebay

It says it went through on my PayPal?

Did you contact the seller?

If you did, and he's not responding, put in a case. He will have to show proof of shipment or pay pal will take the money and refund it to you.

Contact the seller. If you are unable to, then do a Paypal dispute to get his attention. It will go in your favor if you give them the proper proof, or if you have a shipping/tracking number. That is in my experience.

Has the transaction completed? If yes, request a refund from your credit card service. (Charge back)

Yeah contact the seller, he may have missed your sale if you did not follow instructions. If they dont respond, file a paypal dispute, they would get back to you.

Did you receive a tracking code from the seller? If yes, know the status of your shipment before filing a dispute.

I am a ebay.in seller and I usually list a single piece product. When a buyer buys it, instantaneously it is taken off the listing because the quantity then goes to zero.

Not getting a tracking code or the item, that too in weeks after you buy it is another matter and you should raise a complaint about it.

Btw, can someone tell me whether ebay.com allows the payment to reach your bank immediately after someone buys your item, or is the payment on hold till everything is ok for ebay.com? I ask this because on ebay.in the payment is kept on hold for about a week. I have read that only the top sellers get their payment released immediately but not the others.

OP, this is not to hijack your thread. I just need to know that answer because I will begin selling my products on the .com soon...

If you got refunded without asking ebay to, then the seller didn't dispatch your item (may be it was later sold to other buyer, or that item was taken down by the seller -- may be he couldn't get it from his supplier in time to send it over to you) and ebay automatically refunded your payment, which was held by ebay and not given to the seller by it, after the seller's time limit to dispatch it AND upload its tracking ID on ebay was over.

This.
Anyway, worst case I'd guess it's a mistake, I don't think you've been scammed.

Forgot to add that when you bought the item, and if it was a single piece item list, then as soon as you bought it (your money transaction got through), the item qty became zero and the ebay system automatically took off the listing.

To make it more clear:
This is how the seller's listing goes to zero from one and it is taken off automatically when the transaction is completed.

Then the seller, may be, couldn't procure the item from his supplier to send it to you. He waited without informing you that he wasn't sending the item. His time limit to send it with uploading the tracking ID got ended, may be 5-7 days later. Ebay system then (may be waiting for a day or two or whatever days more) automatically cancelled the transaction and refunded you the payment for the item.

If the reseller is not responding you, it's mean he scammed you~unfortunately
