Something is happening. Semrush showing volatility.
I noticed I had improved late last night on a broad range of keywords.
On an important keyword one of the main payers has dropped 20 positions. They have suspiciously low numbers of backlinks, rank way better than they should and I am positive they are big on PBN links.

Yes, i see some huge changes in my network and some big drops to in the past few days, but the same time is January so I was thinking is normal...anyone has some information about this?

Very likely, SemRush detects a high movement in rankings today, they did say they will release the anti-spam update in pieces

They have not officially announced anything yet but they must be preparing an update for sites filled with chatGPT content now.

I was thinking about this AI thing lately. And how people on youtube and blogs are keep pushing the narrative of publishing automated content .
I mean yeah sure if anything reduces human work load then it's much appreciated. But publishing or producing an entire blog or sites with them. Seem a bit unethical to say the least.
But now the question arises will G took these automated sites down or it will be another eye wash! And also not sure what's this update is about

Google is like the police, always late to the party. Quite a few of my sites have seen a 40% Google traffic drop starting January 10th. The same sites were hit by the October Spam update as well. Defo get the feeling that the tinkering and open ended updates going on just now are the precursor to a death star scale core update in the next few weeks.

Is your site effected?? but they did not announced officially. Post indexing is normal.

I have lost some keywords on my site but the traffic seems to be increasing. This started in around end of the december. Any ideas?
