Did Google Do An Update on Friday 1-6-12?

Four of my sites moved significantly overnight

Site 1- Dropped from the number 2 spot to number 8 on page 1

Sites 2 and 3- Not de-indexed, but nowhere to be found

Site 3- Actually jumped about 10 spots to number 9 on page 1

Anyone else experiencing this?

Someone else mentioned something about this on another thread. Personally no change but then i a yet to see any Panda effect on all but 1 of my sites the last year can't help you there.
 
Same here. One of my websites dropped from site 1 to site 5 this night. Not saying this must have been an update, but it's a bit strange. Still trying to figure out what happened there. Not amused :(
 
yesterday one of my website went from #10 to #113 ....
The site is kinda new ... and for that last week was standing on #10 ... I don`t know what the heck hapened
 
I had a site drop between 3rd and 4th. The site dropped for two keywords. The first keyword dropped from no 2 on first page to about page 7. The other keyword dropped form the second result on the second page to page 10. I am really hoping its just the dance since that was a good earning site.

my 1 website shows positive effects and jumped from #215 to #67
another Website Shows negative effects and down from #24 to #202
 
Site 1: Went from page 2 to bottom of page 1 :D
Site 2: a new site, finally was showing on page 4 for a term - now no where to be found.. pretty sure its just dancing from some links I have been throwing at it.

other sites seem unaffected, so far it seems like google is in the dancing mood this friday!
 
Most of my sites are the same but I jumped from 70's to 1st page so I'm stoked. But I have been going hard on backlinking that site.
 
Honestly, I don't even know anymore.

Market Samurai says my site is at #71 for my main keyword.
RankTracker says my site is at #11 for my main keyword.
Scroogle says my site is at #7 for my main keyword.
Manually checking Google, my site is at #11, but then for like 30 minutes, disappears to no where, then comes back to #11.

I just don't know anymore, haha :confused:

You might be logged into your Google account.

Some of the tools could be using your cookies to make the search, some not!
 
My site went from 14 to 178 for my main keyword...
So that's cool. I didn't like money anyways.

Still holding strong at 7 in Yahoo and Bing though, THANK GOD ;)

I clear everything using CCleaner, and make sure I'm logged out. :confused:
 
I only had good movement, just overtook an authority site.

Quality links ftw :)
