Did Fiverr increased its processing fee?

I just wanted to buy a gig on Fiverr and noticed the processing fee is $1 now instead of $0.5

It may seem not much, but it counts when you are ordering a lot of gigs.

Did anybody else notice it? Maybe it is just for me?

Is it possible to surpass the processing fee somewhow? Like escrowing money to your account? As I have canceled a custom gig once, got $35 dollars back, and then, when I ordered any gig, there would be no processing fee (as I still had money left).

yeh those gold diggers increase it to $1 .. i just now ordered a $5 gig and i had to pay $6 wtf

So their actual cut is nowadays over 1/3 of the service's price?
Can anyone recommend some alternative site with less insane comissions?

Ive moved to seoclerks, it seems to be the best alternative out there, and they have more payment options.

Fivesquid is another, but seoclerks seems to have better prices.

I don't think the "Ultimate pokemon tips for 5$" or "I will place your logo in this video for 5$" type of services would be a success at BHW... Could give it a shot though!
