Did Facebook Increase Page Reach For 2018?

For some reason, over the past days, the reach on my posts are performing much better with reach and stable traffic. Hope its not temporary....

Anyone experiencing the same?

I've been getting much better organic reach as well!
 
Yes starting from 2018 i noticed increase in traffic but a huge decrease in Audience Network eCPM the price dropped around 50% .

any one here using Audience Network feels the same ??
 
On my experience, FB never increases the reach.. It's always a decrease as they better their filters. Maybe you've changed something in your posts.
 
I experienced it too. I just checked mine before logging in and I was like "Seriously?"

It might be because of the starting year so the advertisers are still in Holidays and there is no enough bids to increase the price let's wait and see

Yes, its since 2018... up to this moment, the reach and traffic is still soaring way higher than usual (it literally feels like 2011).
Sorry, Im not a part of the Audience network, cant relate.

Speaking of which, I would not just to conclusion so quickly. Im not certain, but this change in reach (some of us are experiencing) could very much be from a recent update to make facebook more organic and engaging again.

Point taken but there could also be an update in the system. Everyone is finding it more difficult to runs ads effectively on Facebook much less getting organic reach and as a result, maybe, everyone is pushing less ads (than usual) and Facebook sees that they can do better with engagement by increasing organic reach.
I know companies are paying for ads but its all about who they target vs the world... what about those users are not being targetted by advertiser?
 
Update: Traffic from my Facebook pages is definitely as high as before the did the major update on lowering the reach years ago.
Based on Google Analytics traffic, traffic from Facebook is consistent. Sometimes it even fluctuate instead of just going up then down.
 
Keep the updates coming sand! My experience so far has been exactly the same - fluctuation in reach but overall I'm reaching much much further!
 
I don't see any increase on the pages I own. The pages are really active but reach for links have decreased more than 50%

What type of content do you tend to post? (Links, Photos or Videos)
How often do you post by day?
 
Mostly photos and videos, they have normal reach. The links we post are engaging unique articles, they get lots of likes and shares, its does not reach 12 to 20k it used to more like 3 to 4k now. Some days we post 5- 8 times and some days we don't post.

Mostly links gettig the highest reach.
Photos are not doing well like once with reach.
I'm gonna start posting videos on my main page (more often) and see what happens.
 
I have noticed that, too, but I am waiting for the catch. I wish that the reach could convert to engagements without spending a penny.

Consider including photos and videos in your posts.
Also incude more content created by you... especially videos. (Use Camtasia 3)
Dont share too often... say one post every hour..two hours or so.
 
Not noticed any changes in mine either, probably cos they are mostly links from my RSS feeds... I’ll make a post and see how it works :)
