Did Anyone Tried site's like 9gag ?

Hello everyone,

I was thinking of starting a website like 9gag site's. I mean mainly based on funny pictures..where the site will automatically grab pictures from fanpages and the earning source will be the adsense and based on impression also most of the visitors will be from social media and mainly fb and big social media like that..

I think many here tried that or wants to do that..so what's the success rate and also do those earns money ? or everything is fake ?
Like i did seen many site's like those and some being flipped on flippa for good money..so what do you think ?

i'm running a funny video site and i'm planning to quit it because its very hard to get traffic for funny videos in google.

i'm getting traffic whenever i put some useless crap about a celebrity. this is the world today. google got no way to verify high quality videos because they cant see whats inside the video.

example: a video of justin bieber walking his dog is getting more views than a high quality hilarious funny video.

i have spent so many hours making funny videos and i see its easier for me to put some crap about celebrities and make money out of it rather than trying to entertain people with funny videos. these days people dont care about quality videos. i just want to give them crap because the world is looking for craps like gangnam style these days. i wanna go with this stupid hyip because i know i cant change the world.
