So, I never check Analytics because I don't use Google to track anything I just submit certain domains to help with indexing and whatnot. However, one of my legitimate sites that was an EMD very very big hundreds of posts got hit real bad. I'm assuming because it was a "gaming" niche theme and I had another one that got hit with thousands of pages. Seomoz did a small write up about gaming niche sites getting hit so it makes sense. Regardless, I logged in today for kicks and noticed this very helpful message: http://xxx.org/: Big traffic change for top URL Search results clicks for http://xxx.org/ have decreased significantly. The number of clicks that your site receives from Google can change from day to day for a variety of factors, including automatic algorithm updates. However, if you have recently made significant changes to the content or configuration of your site, this change may be an indication that there are problems. Plain and simple.. Google is a bunch of arrogant assholes (as we all know) Too much automation. Just thought I'd share how helpful Google can be. They fuck up your site and then helpfully advise you that you lost all your traffic. Thanks Google!
