Did anyone else get this email from ebay?

I'm surprised more people on here didn't get this letter. According to the ebay forums they took out a ton of high quality whitehat affiliates, but on here almost no one got taken out. That's impressively stupid.

Please. Everyone. Copy/paste those links until they are edited. We really don't need this place as the referrer. You can bet they know we exist, but lets not add fuel to the fire.
 
I really havent used ebay but I would have to agree to save money and develope different methods and income streams. Many times esp. the big guys like ebay and google can and have changed the rules with no notice at the drop of a hat. I couldn't quit work unless I had like a minimum of 6 months pay in the bank.
 
For all those who were banned, its time to stuff cookies like hell for remaining days. :D
 
that is so true. If one does not know how to cover there tracks they do not need to be doing this any way.
 
Were the people who were banned sending there traffic through a double meta refresh
to hide the referrer?

It looks like from the ebay forum that ebay is looking at people's traffic sources and closing accounts where they think they would get the traffic anyhow.

I hide my traffic source so they will never know if they would get that traffic anyhow.

Ebay is Black Hat and deserve what they get when we stuff them. They know people are stuffing them because thats what they would do. Closing the EPN accounts that they figure they can get the traffic anyhow is black hat. I bet they shave accounts too. I bet they stuffed the shit out of Yahoo auctions to get them to shut down. Get that big and you had to have played dirty somewhere.
 
are you using forum stuffing, if so you cant hide tefferer that way, and forum stuff is the main income for me

They seem to be banning people randomly and for no specified reason. I had a hunch they were getting rid of people with epc's under $5. However I heard of a whitehatter the other day who was bringing in a couple thousand a month and his epc was $50 and he also got the boot.

I think it's like they are talking about on this forum post hxxp://forums.eb*ay.com/db2/thread.js...=1219382652978 If they think they can get the traffic without you they get rid of you.

No way of hiding referrer on forum stuffing but why stuff egay links on forums
when you can stuff auctions? And then you can of course hide the referrer.
