Definitely.
Today with AI for example you can write 5000 words article in high level.
Think how much workers can lose their jobs because of this and it's really small example.
For simple blog posts? Maybe. Now, what about more in-depth, one-of-a-kind works, such as award-winning books?
It's not even close.
I'd say it was child's play, but even children's stories outclass anything an AI could ever hope to achieve.
The day an AI can write as deeply as humans, we will become obsolete as a species.
To even begin to comprehend human nature, an AI must live, breathe, and suffer as homo sapiens do. It takes years - sometimes a
lifetime - for a writer to progress from "decent" to "genius" status since writing requires a deep, genuine understanding of what life is all about. Take, for example, movies.
Think about the last time you saw a movie that had such an impact on your life; consider classics and what their characters expressed and experienced throughout the story - it's all about the human struggle called "life".
We don't have to go far to put that to the test: Disney had mastered the art of storytelling decades before the first artificial intelligence was even proposed. I'm yet to see an AI transform a
children's lion story* into one of the most beautiful works of art ever created. A single line of dialogue would suffice it.
*Of course, I'm referring to
Lion's King.
AI, like the actors in such films, can be excellent at mimicking humans, but this does not imply that it will become one of them.
Much less winning an Oscar for it.
