Hi all, finally got my Diaspora invite today, so thought I would hand out some to the BHW crowd. Not sure how many I can send, but if any of you want an invite, PM me your email and I will shoot one over to you. If you use hotmail or live, or may end up in your spam filter, so make sure you check that if you can't see it.

What exactly is Diaspora ? I tried searching on Google and the only thing I could find was something that looked to me as a social network ... is that it ?

Yes, opensource version of facebook, with some twitter elements, some google plus features and total control of your content by you, none of the privacy issues of facebook.
