DHL Delay

Below is tracking details from DHL (China to UK)? Seems item is stuck in shenzhen, china. Any one else having the same issue. Normally it takes 4-5 days but this time after 5 days it is still in china!!!!

wow never seen that happen, you should ask the seller next time to have it couriered down to HK then off as I have never had delays that way

I had 1 stuck in HK for a day - yesterday- made it's way to L.A by now. Same thing there today - clearance event, more doc's are needed.

5 days stuck for clearance event - that is not good at all.

Five days of clearance events... What might you be shipping? A live bear or strippers?

Something happened in chinese customs last month. I think there was fake currency or jewels confiscated or something.

They were checking each and every package.

Its getting a little quicker, but far from the normal speed.

I used to work for a online store, and would handle customer service. DHL is good most of the time. But, when they fuck up, they do it really bad. I remember handling shipping cases for months with them, most of the time without any results.

My supplier said he Contacted DHL and they said customs in china started to check 90% of the packages which is causing delay and it might take 7- 15 days ..... My Parcel is not very big ... 30 clothing items

I received some packages recently from DHL and it was fast.

Are you sure there is no illegal or counterfeit items in your package?

Quick update:

It cleared and is with delivery courier. Except the 1 day delay in HK just about as usual.
