Hello guys,

some of you know or didn't know yet, that as of 6th Aug 2012, DHgate.com will stop acceptingPayPal payments.

Does anybody have trusted dropshippers list? :o

Thanks

Not only did they stop accepting PayPal but their prices are marked up to much.
My thought is whenever you see a " List " The prices are going to be to high.

That is the problem, we need another alternatives :)

yes i stopped using them the moment they announced that they will stop accepting paypal, try alibaba or something similar

Alibaba is especially nice for buying large quantities. But for a start up I would recommend finding
a smaller personal connection to factories ect.

Why is it an issue that they no longer accept paypal? They are still reputable.

because dh gate sells copied goods, paypal has been threatened endlessly with lawsuits by large conglomerates who have the power to cripple their business. the only way around it is to buy direct from traders online who fall under the radar of paypal. they are out there, but it takes a little more work than just using the search function on sites like dh gate and alibaba.

I stay away from Dhgate. Seems like to much headache combined with high prices.
Being my own supplier has its compliments.

Cheers

Honestly, I'm not sure who here is going to give you their trusted dropshippers list and even if they did, I don't know if it would be of much help as it would mostly depend on the product that you're trying to sell. If your product is something that you can make yourself then you're likely golden, however, having a larger company source the product while you get them the leads could be less time consuming for you. I second the ideas of finding a smaller company or personal connection to find a supplier for your products. I think if you Google search enough for suppliers in your area or nationally, you'll find things, just dig deeper and don't stop at the first page of search results like 90%+ people likely do that are looking for similar information.

DHGate still does not accept paypal? I am looking into alibaba right now or i might just have to travel to china and visit some factories to build some connections

Ioffer, tootoomart, aliexpress, beltal

anyone who wants to work with alibaba please check the seller before you buy, if its too good to be true its because it is...
Even if the company is alibaba gold something and have 2 years or more do not send money to China using westerunion because you have a great chance to lose your money.
I do business on alibaba but I only deal if the seller accepts escrow.

Try looking for suppliers right here on BHW. You know and individual will treat you better than some big company.

I would check out Aliexpress and Alibaba. Again key is to find someone trustworthy aka a good supplier, which is quite hard to do. Sometimes even gold suppliers scam you. Someone mentioned iOffer in the thread, I use it to sell stuff (not making anything close to what I make through eBay), but I wouldn't recommend to buy stuff from there. They might have sellers with very good feedback etc. but the items break or don't function after a few months or so.
