How will Youtube detect views that are coming from tv box or tv stick, as TV or unknown?
Because you can use it on a monitor as well.

Through the app installed on the smart tv. if you use it as a monitor, the fingerprint that youtube sees is that of a computer

If the app is installed on the tv, the cpc is high because the ads that appear there are the most expensive ones, if you mean that you use the tv as an HDMI monitor, the cpc does not vary

Would android smartphone apk work on android tv as well? Would like to install some vpn to change ip, or to buy proxy so Youtube would recognize that view is coming from other country.
