Hello everyone,

I had a quick question about device ID. So I have a personal IG, and another one that I run legitimately.

I also have just started running multiple other IGs with instagress that get banned every couple days because of the niche, but make enough money so its worth it. Before I put the account on instagress however, I have to login via my phone ( i change the ip first so its unique) and change the username, bio, url , etc.

Now I know IG can link footprints via IP address, but can they do this via device id? I just don't want my personal or my other legitimate account to be potentially in danger when all im doing is logging in with unique IPs to change the info really quick and letting instagress take over.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks

IG knows your device ID when you log in and make every request. Never mix white accounts and throwaway ones.
For the latter use a bot.

Yes, the instagram app does acquire your device id.
You can use Bluestacks and use bluestack tweaker to change ID for making new accounts.
You can also root your android and install xposed then xprivacy to stop instagram from acquiring your ID, etc.
There was a great post not long ago about making accounts for CPA etc. here on the Instagram forum. Give it a look
PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks for the advice guys. Does it matter though if I'm buying these accounts? I bought 10 accoutns from a supplier and all I'm doing is changing the username/bio under my iphone's device ID. Could that be potentially bad for my normal accounts?
