Developing an Small Online Casino

I google around and wondered about how to build a simple & small online casino
but i am being bombarded with sales script and paid software

i dont mind paying, there is just too many software out there and i do not know which to choose

can someone point me in the right direction ?

Is there any good ebook about running an online casino ?

...assuming people are going to spend real money, i think the first thing you need is a good lawyer, a good of shore location and lots of funding?

if i was ever going to concider using an online casino, i would ONLY go for very welll known reputable websites.. then go for somewhere with a massive bonus!

I agree with the previous post. It takes significant investment to get started in this industry....a few hundred thousand $$$ is a start...then ongoing investment into marketing. Choosing the right software for your casino will make all the difference in your success. There are cheap solutions out there but the games don't convert. Go with the best software you can afford - this industry is ultra competitive so you need the best product out there to convert and compete.

That's a very serious niche you're trying to get into... legally and financially. Everyone here pointed out important things you should consider. Try to affiliate to an already existing and trusted online casino to get into the lower layers of it prior to investing... there's soooo many underwater rocks you should better find out about... the fact that you 'don't mind paying' for software suggests your not overly serious about this.
Starting an online casinos goes in to the millions you have to take in to account not only software but licencing, support, hosting, marketing and having enough in funds to sustain any big winners. You won't get licenced anywhere reputable without having enough funds to cover players wins i.e. what if a big players deposits 10k and runs it up to 250k, can you cover that loss?

Is hard to cover the eventual losses so your business should have a starting budget..
Also is better to talk to a lawyer because from what I know you need lot of payper work and time to develop something like this.
Don't begin on a road befor knowing all the risks and information.

Being involved in the gambling niche (as an affiliate, not as provider) I can tell you but one thing: start only if you're sure you can get enough interested people, or affiliates to promote you.

I'm getting 5-10 mails a day with a request to become affiliate of yet another casino, and I don't even bother replying. Not because I'm mean, but because I know they are not going to convert.

Same happens with competition, people don't jump on opportunity to promote you before you get yourself a well established brand. And people don't hurry to sign up, because there are so many established brands and even more affiliates promoting them.

You are going to need a minimum of $25,000 - $50,000 if you want a crappy white label solution.

If you want standalone then you need $100,000+ to even think about getting started, most gaming licenses are $25,000+/year alone.

Move along to your next idea, this isn't some fly by night operation you can setup. There is extremely strict rules and regulations for online gaming.
