Develop one site vs 10 sites? what would you do in 2021

Thanks for all the feedback guys, it's very much appreciated.

I'm going to focus on one site, to begin with, Build it out with lots of quality content and allow it to get through the sandbox. Once I've got a decent amount of content on it and traffic, I will slowly start to add the second site in the mix using the same technique.

If funds allow, I will maybe outsource content for a third site so it doesn't take me away from working the other sites.

Quick question

When you're building a new site, multiple sites, etc.. Do you use the same privacy policy, legal docs pages for them all? or do you create a unique policy for each individual site? Also, do you use a generic privacy policy from a generator site?

How many pages of content do you like to have on the site before actually launching it? Do you monetise it from day one or slowly add that to the mix?

From my experience: 10 sites.

Why? First of all: Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Then: You are way better off if just two of your sites will fall in favor of the Google algorithm...and this is just a hit and miss.

What will you do if you focus on one site, but Google is just not picking it up and starts ranking it? The more websites you have, the higher is the chance Google is at least start to rank one of them. And guess what you are going to do then? You will focus exactly on these sites.

My inner self says get 10
while my brain says focus on one or two

Pick what you are able to accomplish without draining yourself out.
Some are more than capable of doing 10 at once, while some only 1 or a few.
The key is to make sure you can stay committed, preserve and strive to work towards each of the sites goals.

+1 ^^^

As much as we would love to get the best from ourselves and work on 10 different projects, it's impossible!

I mean, if we talk about quality and not some BS.

I have some really powerful domains but I simply can't do shit about it...

They will just die one day and that's it.

It's time-consuming if we want to produce quality and give some valuable information, working on just 1 project if you alone is a killer!

  • Writing a unique article with (at least) 2.000+ words
  • Creating tons of different unique images
  • Creating few infographics
  • Creating a banner for each post
  • FAQ
  • Creating good video/edit it, for each post
  • Finding good keywords

Thinking about headlines and all other things that I can not even remember anymore, I do all this by myself and have tons of other things to do every day... Yeah... It is a real killer!

Finding real and honest people to work for you is also a pain in the ass.

Yeah, don't put all your eggs in one basket but, again, if we talk about quality I believe you can't work on more than 2 up to 3 sites (maybe I'm wrong).

I was on a mission to built 10 sites, But at a same time you cant focus on multiple websites, So i decided I will built one website and convert every single traffic to my new websites. But this one will be the biggest of those 10 I thought about

If you're not outsourcing the content, then managing 10 sites will be difficult. I'd go with one and share every article on all my social media handles.

Not more than 2 if I was in your shoes.
Finding underserved areas in a niche and creating content around it takes time
Plus, it would take 7-10 months until those articles reach peak potential

Some fantastic feedback to help me go forward. Thanks very much.
