Detroit Hiphop Network?

Hi, I'm an admin at a detroit hiphop site that was started by two detroit rappers they said I could keep most of the money for ads which is $1 a day and I get a percentage of any merchandise sold the network is on Ning.com I would like to know how I could drive traffic to the site everyone is welcome to join but the focus on demographics are in the detroit area and midwest states.

the two artist that had started it (Famous & Flame) are former recording artist for eminems best friend of d12 Big Proof.

if you have any suggestions how I can promote the site and drive traffic to it please let me know
