Determining value of subreddit?

Hello,

I own a subreddit with 600K+ subscribers that I do not do anything for.
The first 50 posts on `Hot` have somewhere between 300 - 2000 upvotes.
The sub is fairly active it seems.
It makes it to r/all quite a bit.
I have a small mod team that oversees it.


What is the value of this subreddit if I were to pursue selling it?

It depends on the subject of the subreddit.
Usually it's $10/1k subscribers.

what do you mean by selling? giving your mod position to another person?

There's always the huge risk the sub gets banned. Reddit is extremely volatile. So maybe $400. And that's still a very risky investment.

Hard to determine, the range would be huge considering subreddits are high-risk. Really have to find the right buyer for this to sell at any amount that you're probably thinking.
