Many of you have probably thought about buying entire blogs instead of links. I wanted to start a discussion on blog valuation and get some advice.
There's a blog that publishes top 10 lists (no it's not my blog). Here are the stats:
I would sped time improving the site (i.e. more content, better design, speed, link-building) and eventually become a top local blog.
Here are some other potential income sources:
BUT they've only had 20k traffic for one month. It could go down. And I have no idea how much they make or value their own site.
I only have a $5-10k budget. I think I'm going to try call them to advertise and get a bunch of data on their site, then send them a lowball offer (like 2k) and follow up in one month.
Does that sound like a good plan or would you approach it differently.

- 20k monthly search traffic est (ubersuggest)
- Ahrefs 32 DR, 84 RD
- 60 articles
- Ranks #1-3 for "top [company type] in [area]" for a business owned by my client (2k organic traffic est)
- Age: 15 years for domain, first backlink in 2018

Here are some other potential income sources:
- $500/mo from that page I mentioned from my client
- $2k/mo from charging all businesses on all other articles
- $500/mo from ads to my agency (profit from 1 client every 3 months)
