Determining Competition (Youtube and Amazon Links on First Page)

Hey guys,

I am trying to determine competition for a local keyword and noticed that the 2nd 3rd and 4th results are Youtube Videos
and Amazon.com links and the 5th is the EMD org domain with only 12 referring domains and a total of 36 backlinks.

I guess that this one should be quite easy to rank even without using an exact EMD... am I right?

The amazon, youtube pages likely are not optimized for SEO so you should be able to beat them no problem. How old is the competition EMD? If it's brand new like you, and he puts equal work into his link building, he will always be on top of you. However chances are it's older and he just forgot about it because he didn't get #1 in a week, most people are impatient.
