Hello BHW,
I have a question (simple one i guess) !
When you try to rank a website, full of articles, u try to rank every article of the website distinctly or its about to define the most important keyword of your activity and you try to optimize it everytime in an article ?

My problem, i have a blog, with more than 100 articles, but i cant have visitors yet, its too weak, i try to optimize every article, but no results till now, its more than a year that im working on it :( desperate
Advices, solutions and techniques are welcome :) thank youu

If the content is bad, your bounce rate is higher, total time on page is lower, and social signals are naturally lower. Google is noticing who puts in the effort to give value to their visitors vs. those who dont.

But there could be a number of reasons:

1. Content
2. Site structure
3. Keywords
4. Quality of your link building

Are your articles in English ?

If so I presume you outsourced your content?

Are they unique articles or spun ones?
 
Can't say much without looking at it.

Could be bad structure, did you own the domain from the start?

Is it penalized?

Obviously something is wrong of you can't get traffic from SEO, how many backlinks you got?

You SM platforms connected are you active on those?
 
Not only content, but yes we all agree content is king; and may be the issues might be from the way you are handling your link building...
I advise you to also apply advance link building and outreach.

You need more social signals like Pinterest and Instagram likes
 
You could optimize each article about the same topic, but slightly different tho cause I wouldn't use same keywords. Focus on a different set of keywords on each article would be my advice. Another thing is if you are trying to rank the homepage (main domain) itself for some kw's and then write about the topic again and again in blog where the kw's reoccur, tho homepage gets most attention.
 
- Too hard keywords
- Bad onsite SEO, including bad or nonexistent interlinking and bad keyword densities
- Nonexistent offsite SEO, especially with combination with too hard keywords

Also, with big sites you are not ranking every single article by itself. You build backlinks primarily to homapage, have your site properly structured and interlinked and juice will flow through your entire site.

i try to choose non very competitive keywords, and to respect "density" of the keyword in every article.
 
you should do proper onpage and offpage seo, first search for good long tail kws with low kw competition, not advitisor competition on adword then write seo friendly articles if you can't hire a freelancer then do proper onpage seo of your articles and social share is must on 5+ different social platforms then try to make backlinks of different kind like comment, web 2.0, profile, guest post, pbn backlinks and i am sure you have not done that that's why you are not ranking and getting visitors since 1 year.
 
It's really hard to tell why you're not ranking without seeing the site. But as others said, make sure your on-page optimization is as close to 100% as you can get. I would also say that if you're trying to keywords that get 1K+ search per month, you will most likely need to build good links to get yourself anywhere near page 1. It's a competitive search engine world out there.
 
How you want to rank without link building? Links take long time before they start working, so you should start making them
 
AFAIK, for these kind of issues you need to work on SEO and easier keywords and structure first, and yeah Instagram likes can provide a nice boost as well

Submit the sitemap to the google webmaster tool and robot.txt too. Also, build some links in the same as your niche blogs and the quality of the site is important.
