Despair, need advice. about site.

Hello, i just joined today. And please bear with me.
I hope i'm in right section...

I searching for advice, about my site. Me and my friend started a site 3 years ago or so. we bought videos streaming software and wanted to make live sex chat site. We had some traffic then by buying traffic from some seo sites. Models and members where registering, but models didn't go online after registering. seemed like they were scared or didn't trust our intentions, i don't know really. After this long time we are now just receiving 60 visitors a day. And we are grateful for those mare 60 visitors, but we don't get income at all. All this time we are just losing our own hard earned money for keeping alive this website. Tho, our alexa rank is better then we started. To improve somehow our traffic, we bought other software, the tube style website, which is 6 months old. And i have came to this point, that i don't really even know how i can make it all right, and start getting models online, getting members, and make income.

If some smart people at black hat could help or give some advice where to go next, would be really helpful. I'm really confused how this network works.The site can be found in my profile.

Cam sites are very expensive and you need a lot of capital to start them and build your brand. A lot of people think becoming successful is just setting up some software. I think you should get a business plan and marketing plan together. Realistically speaking you'd need 10-20K per month for at least the first year to even get off the ground.

Wow, this kinda makes me feel even worse. Any other sugesstions? which i could use other then getting 10-20k. cause we had the visitors the time we launched site. Daily visits where about 1k, we kinda missed out and didnt know how to act in that situation. By that time we have learned a lot from our mistakes, but we have trouble getting that traffic back.

The_demon has some valid points. No matter what your website is, content is a key part of being successful. For you, that content is produced by models so that is a key part of your plan. If you can't get them to sign up, you have no business.

I would sit down and hash out what your core goals are. You could send a bunch of traffic to the site but if you don't have a clear plan of what your mission is as a business, you will most likely fail. Say you are able to make a few technical tweaks and you start getting your thousand visitors a day again, will they stay if the content is the way it is today? You need to find a way to make the site valuable for people to visit. If that means attracting models to sign up, then focus on that.

On the promotion side, have you done any SEO to the site? If not, you may want to start there. You could also look into pay per click opportunities although for adult sites you have to find an advertiser willing to display that content. Mainstream social is probably out of the question for you but maybe there are some niche social sites that cater to adults. I would also suggest building up a subscriber email list and doing email marketing.

Thank you for reply, i'm not too strong in seo, i just recently starting to scratch the surface of it. i will check out that link you gave me.
Shawn have you checked my site? Maybe by looking at site, some could point out seo mistakes i have done? Currently i'm trying to build back links, friend is writing news and articles for website. And i changed Model Payout rates to 80% and 10% for affiliates program. Which leaves me with 10% income from sales. Hope this will work. I already started to use plugrush and juicy ads. But thing is i dont really have that money to start buying traffic(after paying all bills). So basically im trying to get free ways of increasing visits and maybe models will start to register again.

You definitely need to work on your content, your models. Without them you have no business. I did a search on Craigslist and there are people advertising for models for live cam shows on that. You should try to do a revenue model where you split the money that their viewers bring in. And also if they are not turning up then you need to trial them some way and get them used to doing the performance. Just my 2 cents Good luck

hi, wanted to add something, if someone has a web modeling studio for this niche, i would really like to cooperate, and bonus i can setup your private cams site, maybe make a network together, but you will need then 2 things, 1 email server and a domain. PM if you would like to partner up. In mean time ill try to figure out how to optimize my site seo. And 1 more thing - can some one explain me, when in google(keyword tool) i search keywords, whats those values mean, if value is high - its better, or the value of search is lower on keyword/s?
