My website's advertising is designed for desktops. Google Analytics shows that 2/3 of visitors come from mobile.
Is there a way to show desktop advertising to desktop users and other adverting to mobile users?

So:
Where can I get started to figure out how to show different advertising to different users?

Exit intent pop ups and corner peel ads are useful on the desktop but I need something like a little leaderboard ad for mobile users.

Thank you for your time.

Can't you just use the responsive code so it automatically fits the screen size? It's in your dashboard

Hello @schleprock
At first check your website is mobile friendly or not.
If Yes then you can use Google Responsive Ads on your pages. And it will automatically resize as per the screen size.
And
If Not then you you need to make your pages mobile friendly by using View Port Tags and @media screen tags in CSS.

Depends entirely on the advertising network you're using, many of them have special ad widgets that only display on mobile or desktop.

You generally add both a "dekstop popup" and a "mobile popup" widget to all pages and they have embedded code that decide which one displays

Wouldn't that be tiny on a cell phone screen.

I use ClickBank and it is done with slide ins. So I don't know how that would work on a phone screen.
.........
Can I try something like YouTube. Or like big magazine type sites.

A visitor comes to my screen, reads for 20 seconds, then gets told to watch an advertisement if they want to continue reading.

Or maybe I could:

My Clickbank sales page is a video, could I just automatically re-direct them to it after 20 seconds or so. Or maybe that violates someone's TOS. How about a full page slide in, which could be closed.

My advertising will work as is on tablets and desktops but I am dead in the water on cell phones.

What is the advertising called where you can't continue unless you wait for 6 seconds or watch the ad? That might be my best bet for all devices, including desktops.

You must enable your advertising for Mobile also. Discuss with your advertising manager.

I will look to see if it is enabled for mobile.

Thanks for the suggestion.

(just to clear up my position here, I am Head Cook and Chief Bottle Washer of this operation, which means I have to do all the work myself as I am unable to afford wages for helpers)
