Desktop & Mobile Ranking Different Largely

Hi Guys,

1 of my site desktop ranking is #3 but on Mobile its ranking is #8 or so.

What could be the deciding factor, the site is mobile responsive. Could it be due to image size or other factors.

Loading Speed is the first important factor.

Than user behavior of mobile site.

Mobile site visitors when compare with your competitor.

Image size.. don't think so, If you have many images on desktop website. Try to load few images only on mobile site. You may solve this issue like this.

Check google pagespeed insights for mobile to see is there anything which is slowing down the loading of the mobile site which could be a major factor.

I'd say the problem is with your mobile site. Usually, people would be surprised if they rank higher on mobile than desktop, and that happens when some of their desktop competitor has a poor mobile site (in this case that's you).
