When I publish my .exe it is showing the default icon on the desktop. How can I get it to show a custom one?

I did the properties and in the application tab, I added an icon from the drop down, but its still coming up as the default icon when I publish.

Any ideas?

What installer are you using ??? On desktop is shortcut and in your installer you should be able to assign icon to it...

Are you having the same issues when you try in another project, or is this the only one?

You need to make sure you include the .ico in your installer content, that is usually the problem.
