Is it easier to get design help for a regular website or a blog?

I'm trying to decide which path I want to take and I'm just getting started.

Thanks

It depends on how you want the site to look. If you're going for a web 2.0 look or something with flexibility, then go with a normal site. But if you dont have the design or coding skills and just need a basic site, then go with wordpress. Do a search on themes and see if you like it. You will be surprised at some wp themes out there.

You need to learn the basics first. Go learn some html and javascript.

Once you've gotten the hang of both, start working with php and mysql.

It all depends on what you would like to. If you are planing a big thing, get a custom website. If it is for personal purpose, I suggest wordpress. You can do everything with it, bogs, websites and even sales letter. You can pratically do everything with this tool. You get the choice ;)

cheers

It's easy to find help for both regular websites and blogs (if the platform is WordPress), however, that said, learning HTML/CSS is far more simple then learning PHP, which you'll kind of need if you want to go down the WordPress route.

The difference between Website and Blog is that, website is a Good looking page with design and colors, web 2.0, but blog can be simple page for sharing views.
So, it totally depends upon your requirement.
