Description snippet in google showing my privacy policy?

I have recently checked one of my sites in yahoo google and bing. Yahoo and Bing show the title and description perfectly but for some reason Google is showing the description of my site as my copyright and privacy policy. WTH

Has this happened to anyone else. If i am messing something up why would it show fine in the other engines.

Also, when I do site:sitename google shows the description snippet completely different than yahoo and bing. I want the snippet to be in google how it is in yahoo and bing. It figures this would happen

Hi, for Wikipedia has happened something very similar: description corrupted because of their unified message (against censorship, by the way). Try to change all the corrupted meta-description, but no warrancy about Google will modify it in subsequence (try to optimize your title, it should be more easy and efficent).

Do you use a common header for all your subpages ?

Well it is a 6 or 7 page site with about me page how to contact us . It showed fine then all of a sudden it changed to showing copyright page. How would a meta description be corrupted? Site is optimized and other search engines showing the correct snippets for all pages.. G is such a pita
