Do you ever feel like you have given your whole life to someone and they literally don't give a shit?

You know what they say dude : "Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option."

Life is not meant to be given to someone else. Life is meant for YOU to live it.

It's alright for you to have a complementing life partner, but that's what it needs to be. A partner that complements your life, vice versa.

Life is a gift that we should not devote to anyone else. Doing so simply forces you to open hand of your own life and allows the other person to live not only their life, but yours as well.

If the other person is that selfish, then you have answered the question as to whether or not you should keep them around.

Remember, everything we do in life came about from a willing decision. No one has put a gun to our heads and forced us to do or accept these things. This means that our jobs, our friends, our partners, etc, are all willing decisions we have made and we must remember that we are in complete control of these decisions. Just like we willed them to be in our lives, or take that job; we can will to drop their ass or quit that job.

Either way, keep your head up buddy.

Life is good.

I feel bad about having wasted a few years of my life doing nothing of real value.
Whenever I day dream about where I could have been by now, I feel depressed.

Same feelings here too but now I give a shit :)

I truly understand you bro. I'm feeling the same thing... I can only advise you to Cheer up, hangout more with your friend, have a few drinks, go and meet new people, its refreshing. Time heals all wounds.

I don't know if this helps but right now I'm definitely playing the back nine of my life and for the longest time I felt the same way about squandering my opportunities and life. That said I kept plugging away and I can honestly say at this late stage I finally found my obsession and now I spend every waking day being obsessed. You just have to find that obsession and it cannot be found in another person.

problem is you care too much. gots to have a F it mentality.

its just feelings, you feel how you want to feel. Its not outside situation that make you feel like that its yourself who makes you feel like that.

I want to have money so what do I do I wake up at 8am (not today) and I work all the way to 11pm at night, only stop to take a shower, lil work out and thats its. Am I missing out on stuff yea of course, but if I would be out there doing stuff ill be missing out on the oppurtunity to grind as hard as I can right here right now.

Its how you look at it and what you deem are your priorities, whats important to me will not be important to your and vice versa.
