Dentist Method - Reversed - My Journal

So the method is basically you send out letters to companies telling them you can rank them for certain local keywords.

Instead of telling them I could get to the first page. I bought a domain 5 months ago, ranked it to the front page and now I am sending out letters to every company in this niche which is the Chiro niche.

Keyword is "city name chiropractor"

Sending out 17 letters today.

I modified the letter and might share it with you depending on my success rate.

I will update this thread with how everything goes.

I am asking even if they are not interested to meet with me to discuss my company.

Total investment to date = $20 for seo and domain name.

The only thing I have used was SENUKE , wordpress, and I don't even have one article on the site. It is a a fauk chiro site so far.

Holy shit what city? I did the same thin in the same niche only I ranked the site in 2 weeks and sent the letters out middle of last week! Lol

How did that turn out for you? How many letters did you send?

I will not give up the city name.

If you landed one, how much did you charge? Are you getting monthly income from it?

Edit: also, I have no idea when i got to first page as I have been busy with other projects. Just getting back to this old domain! lol

I am sure we did not target the same city now that I think about the only other chiro site that is not an actjual chiro did a buch of blog network posts...did not see any 2.0's in the mix...

Have not heard from 1 yet but just used the google places letter and only targeted the 10 or so I found uing adwords as they were already used to spending $ online. Plan on giving it till the end of the week and doing an email campaign and also going down page 2+ and sending letters to them too! Did you use exact local searches in your letter,phrase or broad? I used phrase which said 6k per month but exact still was around 1k p\month. I plan on monetizing via either seo for their existing page\rent a site or outright sale of the site. Mhy preference is outright sale so I can target a tougher local term with a higher cost per click. As for what I charge I base it around cpc and what the client might pay if they used adwords... so far it has been around $1200 p\month...for places only going to ask for $500 p month to rent a sute $1k p month and for a sale I am looking for high 4 figures low 5 figures. Let's see what happens..

Which kind of envelopes did you use to mail yours? Like the ones the OP has pictured or did you use Fedex/UPS and mailed theme first class mail through the post office?

Did you include a return address on your mailers or not?

No return addy but used used the USPS packets instead of the standard to make it look more "official"

So did you mail them using USPS Priority mail? Isn't that like $5 a piece to mail? Or you using some other USPS envelope to send First class mail?

What sort of envelopes are you using for your mailing? Are they your standard yellow mailers or some special evenlope?

I do something similar but then with dentists, and now I am #2, page 1. Do you think I can start contacting dentists of should I wait untill I hit #1?

I think he's selling advertising spots, so it's recurring income.

I was just wondering why do you need the op's letter? Why not write one yourself..

These kind of letter/email's should be personalised because at some point your going to meet the client and do business right?

Put them in the USPS Priority pack and send 1st class...

I give them options: Rank their existing site... "See I have done it already can do it for you too."

Rent a site "I can rebrand this site for you"

Or sell "Best value is to buy the site"

here is how I figure it, the cost per click is over $10 and almost 1000 exact searches. So if they get just 10 clicks per day(if they advertised via adwords) that would be $100 p/day over 30 days if they maxed out the budget they could spend $3K every month. So the value of the site is really $3k per month or so for how ever long they can keep the site on page 1.

for my purposes I project a 6 month timeframe so the site could/should have a value of $18K for someone spending money on adwords IMO.

I know it does not work exactly like that but in reality a top 5 ranking for that term is probably truly valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars if the site stays ranked on page 1 for years.

Downside, not 1 call from my letters yet and not 1 reply to about 5 emails I sent out 2 days ago.

I may need to JV with a GREAT Copywriter and if I can sell the domain give a cut of the profit. Any talented copywriters/sales pro's want to take a stab?
