When are they going to give up trying to kill the free internet. It will never work and there will be another Demonoid just not called that though.

Private is the way to go. Less self serving leeches who can't seed and better speeds especially when you have a seedbox.

And TPB isn't usable in UK (there may be more) unless you use a proxy.

True but for privates you need an invite so it's a longer process.
I'll agree with a few here for open kat.ph is pretty good since they verify. For those loking for ebooks/textbook MyAnonamouse is said to be good, though you'll need an invite (can get one on their IRC)
 
You may also want to keep a eye on filesinabus.me if you were a demonoid fan. It has just been started and is run by some old-school demonoid users who plan to make it similar to demonoid. They are still testing but signups are open for now and everything is functional.
 
Demonoid was the best. I've been lost as well. I appreciate the other recommendations.
 
So besides TPB, where's a good outlet? Man I miss Demonoid.Seems like no good options, is the lawsuit action so crazy for these sites that making an alternative is too risky or what? Hell, there's torrent clone scripts...
