Have any of you been demonetized for reused content? What are the best practices when sending appeal? Dos and don'ts?

I have been demonetized for it. You need to tell them about your content/what you do on the channel and tell them the policies you're following, show multiple examples of your transformative work, show the behind the scenes of you making the video (editing, recording etc.), show similar channels to yours that are still monetized. That's what I did and I got re-monetized.

Hey,
getting demonetized for re-used content is very common, even if you do follow all of the fair use policies and guidelines, most channels get demonetized because youtube uses a mix of Ai and human detection methods and quite often the Ai makes the wrong decision of flagging a channel video as "re-used", although it has transformational content, If your sure that you have transformed the content, by adding voice overs, reactions, or edits etc, then go ahead and appeal for your video,
while appealing keep these in mind,
1- show the channel link and channel homepage [if you do not do this, they reject the appeal]
2- show them step by step analysis of how you have transformed the content
3- after you show them step 2, let them know that you have borrowed any idea[basically got inspired by an idea of another creator] but you have not blatantly re-used it, instead you have added your transformative value in it as well.
These 3 methods have always helped our clients in the appeal method.

Send them any evidence that it is a video you edited and did not take it from someone else
